For Christmas, my boyfriend recorded an album for me. Yes. An entire album of him singing and playing every instrument. An album of four of his favourite worship songs, three songs that he wrote to Jesus, a couple songs he wrote about me, and one of our favourites to dance to. As if all of that wasn’t wonderful enough, he also added two hidden tracks that are acoustic guitar/piano versions of Awakening and Take Heart, because he knows I love acoustic versions of any song. There’s also an instrumental version of “My Heart With Hers” because he knows how much I love the chords in it. I can’t even imagine how long it must have taken him. Also, fun fact, the picture on the front and inside cover was taken at the spot where we had our first kiss. Cute right?

Seeing this on my dashboard and smiling so big because he loves me and we’re happy and looking forward, and being able to listen to him sing whenever I want is the best.
